Decluttering The Mind, Body, And Soul
Every single thing in this universe has a vibration, a frequency and that includes you, everything you surround yourself with, and every aspect of your life and lifestyle!
What exactly am I talking about? Well, you have your own energy field (consisting of chakras, energy meridians, and an auric field), and that energy field is a vibration, a frequency that is interacting and communicating with you, and the universe, 24/7. Which means your surroundings, your thoughts, patterns, beliefs, actions, emotions, traumas, wounds, words you speak or write, the clothes you wear, even the colours of the clothes you wear, your possessions, your relationships, foods etc.. all have their own unique frequency. And these frequencies are all communicating with you, your energy field, your subconscious, and the universe.
This all how it impacts how YOU FEEL and how you EXPERIENCE LIFE.
Energy is the currency of the universe, and once we start to recognize and understand the different frequencies and vibrations in our lives, and how they impact our wellbeing, we can adjust accordingly to improve our health and wellbeing in a significant way. It sounds simple right? Because it is. The universe is designed to keep things simple, but as humans we like to overcomplicate, or rather we are conditioned to over complicate life.
Many of us, especially empaths, can recognize the energy of a room or a space if it feels uncomfortable but we don’t always follow the feelings or messages we get, our ego and conditioning overrides our intuition and inner guidance, that inner knowing that we initially feel.
Decluttering energy was one of the first principles I learned regarding energy and how deep we need to go to continue to keep clearing the debris of not only our past and past lives but also on ancestral levels that we carry in our DNA. Working to declutter every aspect of our lives works towards HEALING and harmonizing our energy fields on all those levels and helps universal life force energy flow to us and through us with less resistance. Energy can flow with greater ease instead of feeling stagnant and feeling like we are stuck and can’t see the path ahead. Decluttering needs to take place on every level, not just the physical that we can see but on a subconscious level as well to bring light to what is under the surface that we can’t see.
We are energetic beings, and every single thing we choose has an impact on our energy field. It can either enhance it or deplete it leaving us feeling exhausted, confused and feeling stuck in a rut. We have never been told, or shown, how to really value and take care of our energy fields, and that doing so is the key to our balanced wellbeing and vitality. Our path of living each moment with more joy, ease and deeply connected within!
What To Declutter?
It’s an easy concept to learn and anyone can improve their energy, their vibration and learn how to maintain it, but it isn’t an instant fix, it takes time, effort, and is lifestyle practice to continue to help maintain balance in your energy field.
I’m going to share some basic tips here to get you started and hopefully arouse your curiosity to further explore and embark on your own journey back to energetic balance, improved wellbeing and greater self awareness of your energetic body and how sacred that is. It represents how you show up in this world, the light that you bring.
So, let’s begin with some simple places to start clearing out old energy in order to raise your vibration. We get energetically attached to people, places, memories, things, etc… and sometimes that energy is not good for us. The goal is to clear everything that no longer resonates, or doesn’t FEEL good in your body when you hold it, or think about it. What energy does it add to your life to enhance how you want to feel every day? Because all these energies contribute and are attached to your energy, so you want them to make you FEEL good!
Physical possessions, in the home and business if applicable. It’s easiest to work methodically when doing this, either from the top to the bottom of the house and business room by room, or by category. Create piles of items to donate or throw away if unrecyclable. Hold the item in your hand and ask yourself “do I need this? Does it serve a purpose in my life? Does the energy of this item make me FEEL good?”. This will be an ongoing process over time.
Paperwork, emails, texts, photos (both physical and digital)! It all contains energy so when we clear away the old that is no longer needed we cleanse the energy that is attached to our energy field. This is something that works best if you keep on top of clearing on a regular basis to clear away old energy.
Commitments. Are there any commitments that you said “yes” to when you really wanted to say “no”? When our lives are busy doing things we don’t really want to be doing we are out of alignment with our energy. We are lowering our energy, our vibration by doing so. It is not selfish to say “no”, it is beneficial for your wellbeing if it does not make you feel good. For those commitments that you really can’t get out of, is there a way you can tweak how you do them to make them more enjoyable? Or can you change your perspective about how you FEEL about them?
What energies are you consuming? What are you putting in (food and drink, etc), and on (cosmetics, toiletries, etc) your body? What music are you listening to? Are the lyrics and sound of the music positive? How does your body and mind respond to it? What TV shows, movies, entertainment, games are you watching and playing? What are you scrolling through on social media? How much of your time are you dedicating to these habits? Are they addictive to you? All these impact your energy field. Are they of benefit to how you feel? Or are they draining you of energy or creating more stress in your life? If you are constantly DOING you have less or no time for BEING.

This is why I practice and teach Reiki energy healing, it clears energy within our energy field, releases the toxicity to help our energy field work more effectively and efficiently to experience this life with greater health, wellbeing and vitality.
