Pluto Moving Into Aquarius

As we begin to transition into the energy of Pluto moving from Capricorn into Aquarius today for a new 20 year cycle, here’s my take on the energy we get to work and play with.

I gravitated towards tarot here for a visual which perfectly describes both the mundane aspects of daily life and also major moments, milestones of life intertwined with astrology.

This new cycle depicted by XX. Judgment and XVII. The Star which represent the energy of this new cycle of Pluto in Aquarius.

XX. Judgment is the card connected to both Pluto and Scorpio, since Pluto is the planetary ruler of Scorpio. A card that reflects this transition as Pluto moves into Aquarius during Scorpio season. Divine timing at play!

With Pluto we are to expect great transformation, transformation that happens to you and for you. It is an awakening, and a letting go of the past to make a new start. A spiritual transformation, a rebirth.

We have the opportunity to make amends for the past and to choose to change, choosing to not go back to the old ways of being and doing.

Pluto rules all that is unseen, hidden, or buried secrets, things that were masked and concealed will be revealed. Pluto amplifies energy around it. Pluto is a potent, powerful energy and the catalyst for big change both on a collective scale worldwide and a personal level.

Now add to this the energy of Aquarius which is altruistic, inventive, rebellious, individualist, the visionary and also rebel of the zodiac whose planetary ruler is Uranus, which can be rebellious or inspirational. Aquarius is also related to social causes, hopes and ideals, collaboration, and community. Group expression. A step in the direction towards unity consciousness.

XVII. The Star represents Aquarius energy of inspiration, hope, harmony, optimism, vision, seeing the bigger picture. This is the energy of healing, spiritual connection, an opening up and awakening to our psychic powers, our superpowers! This card follows XVI. The Tower in the tarot deck, it is the awakening that comes as a result of sudden change, abrupt change created by The Tower, change that is not in our control. It brings enlightenment, aha moments, and the breaking up or crumbling of all that wasn’t built on solid foundations. Things we have already been experiencing in our lives, in our society, and on worldwide levels for the last few years especially.

Where To Place Our Focus

There is no doubt we are in for a time of big change, a time to get clear on the direction, the timeline we want to be on. So, I invite you to embrace this by anchoring yourself into the energy of hope, of optimism, of inspiration, of healing energy that has the power to lead humanity to a much higher level outcome.

This new cycle will bring the feeling of destiny, of fate, of developing a deep spiritual connection that allows you to follow your north star, step more into your passion and purpose, in service to you, your family, your community, the world if you choose it. Pluto will empower this energy.

The key is to be adaptable, flexible through this change whilst deeply grounded, and never compromising who you truly are. Learn to trust your intuition, where it is guiding you, and get clear on what you want and who you want to become. What is it that you want to see and experience not only in your life, but in the world as a whole? What is the best possible outcome that you dream of for yourself and for humanity? What do you want to be known and remembered for? What legacy are you creating?

We have learned to fear change, and fear puts stress on our nervous systems and blocks intuition. So as an Usui Reiki energy healer, my advice is to find daily healing practices to follow, ones that you enjoy and can anchor yourself into, that strengthens and supports the nervous system, and helps you create emotional stability, inner resiliency, inner security. Practices that promote wellbeing of the mind, body, and soul. And to remember that the act of making choices keeps us in the present moment.

Reiki is the foundational daily practice I lean on, but practices with movement such as Tai Chi, qigong, yoga, and exercise are all just as important for energy flow and inner connection to support being mindful and fully present in the physical body too.

As I’m writing this article, the song lyrics “Power to the people” by John Lennon is coming through clairaudience and giving me spirit chills. We are already starting to see evidence of this play out in the world as people come together to stand up for their rights and humanitarian causes, and I am sure we will be seeing a whole lot more.

This could be a bumpy ride for quite a while, but no matter what, this IS a time to be filled with hope, with faith, with optimism and trust that we do have the power to restore peace and harmony and create a better world to live (and play) in.
